The latest re-creation of Princess Diana’s iconic life story is performed by Kristen Stewart in biopic Spencer, which hits theaters tomorrow, 11/5. While viewers will be buying tickets to watch the depiction of the Princess’s dramatic unraveling, we’ll be making an appearance to get an up-close look at Stewart’s makeup.

In a recent article by Popsugar, Stewart’s on-set makeup artist Stacey Panepinto—she’s worked with the actress for more than 10 years—breaks down her four favorite products she uses on-set to achieve Princess Diana’s realistic day-to-day look.

Panepinto says she kept all of Stewart’s looks “light and fresh,” and while she didn’t use much makeup at all, a lot of skin-care prep went into them. Before getting to the makeup, she smoothed the skin with Augustinus Bader The Cream ($85), which supports cell renewal to brighten and visibly plump the skin. To create a light, rosy base, Panepinto tapped Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint ($26) into the skin followed by the cult-classic Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Rose Lip & Cheek Tint ($18).

To give the eyes a boost, Panepinto applied a few swipes of Chanel Le Volume Mascara ($32) and a brown eyeliner from Marc Jacobs. “Having worked with Kristen for years, I’m fortunate that I know her face well and I know the products that work for her,” she tells Popsugar. “We didn’t want to try and copy from anything complete, but instead to create an image that felt timeless. Sometimes we might use a lip color that was similar to images we looked at to pay homage to a real reference point.”
