How to have fabulous hair in midlife, according to experts

Losing your hair can really knock your confidence – but what to do when it’s a significant amount?

Hair thinning and loss in women can have many causes, and are often a combination of factors. It’s especially common as we hit mid-life.

Join us at GH LIVE, a three-day event in partnership with Dyson, as we explore some of the most common causes and share expert tips on what to do when you start to lose your hair.

Good Housekeeping’s senior beauty editor Alexandra Friend will be in conversation with top UK trichologist Eva Proudman, Chairperson of the Institute of Trichologists, who has more than 20 years’ experience of treating thinning hair and hair loss.

She will be joined by celebrity hair stylist Michael Douglas, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the haircare industry and has styled the hair of supermodels and celebrities including Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and Davina McCall.

Both Eva and Michael are bursting with knowledge about how ageing impacts our hair and will be offering advice on ways to improve your hair and scalp health. From taking supplements to changing up your shampoo and conditioner, as well as clever styling tips and tricks, guests will leave armed with leave armed with knowledge and practical advice.

Attendees will also receive special goody bag with fantastic products from Absolute Collagen’s award-winning haircare range.

The event will take place on Thursday 23 June in the elegant setting of Carlton House Terrace, beautifully scented by Zoflora, in the heart of London’s St James’s. Tickets cost £10.

Good Housekeeping Live in partnership with Dyson is a three-day festival of events (23-25 June 2022) to celebrate our 100th anniversary.

We’re delighted to offer you the opportunity to join the Good Housekeeping team for a packed programme featuring some of our favourite stars, experts and authors, and encompassing live talks, masterclasses, cookery demonstrations and afternoon teas.

Other guests include Anita Rani, Fern Britton, and Jojo Moyes. We will also be holding talks and sharing tips on “How to create a sustainable kitchen” as well as tips on “How to get published“, among many others.
