The ‘wedding of the year’ is now finally over! Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have now been officially pronounced as ‘wife and husband’ and we can’t keep calm. The duo posted beautiful photos from their wedding on December 9, leaving us shedding happy tears. The duo got married in Rajasthan, and going by all the images that were shared on the internet, a lot of hard work was put into the VickTrina wedding. From stunning décor to maintaining privacy, we remember a note laid out for the guests by Katrina and Vicky’s wedding planning team, undersigned as ‘Shaadi Squad’, for the guests.

The event planning team didn’t just plan Katrina and Vicky’s wedding but many other big names of the tinsel town in the past. Here’s all you need to know about them.

VICKTRINA’S WEDDING PLANNING TEAM

One of the first updates of Katrina and Vicky’s wedding came in the form of a viral note on December 7. The same was put together for guests by an event planning group company, Shaadi Squad. The note could read, “You are finally here! We hope you enjoy the road trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore, enjoy the refreshments that we have put together for your journey through scenic villages and roads. Sit back, relax and brace yourselves for a fun-filled, exciting adventure! We request you to please leave your mobile phones in your respective rooms and refrain from posting pictures or using social media for any of the ceremonies and events. We can’t wait to see you! Regards, Shaadi Squad (sic).”

And that is when we started digging a little deeper about the company.

WHO IS TEAM SHAADI SQUAD?

VickTrina’s wedding planning team, Shaadi Squad, regard themselves as the “new age wedding planners”. An excerpt about them from their website reads, “With a team passionately dedicated to translating your wishes into reality, we will use our creativity and experience to craft you a wedding as unique as can be. So breathe, relax. You’ve found us, we’re meant to be, your job is done; we’ll take it from here. All you have to do is soak in every brilliant moment. Let us handle the rest.”

We did a little digging and it came about that not just the VickTrina wedding, team Shaadi Squad, led by Tina Tharwani, Manoj Mittra, and Saurabh Malhotra, has beautifully put together some of the most popular B-Town weddings in the past.

The year 2021 started with Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding. Their wedding took place in Alibaug. The Shaadi Squad team planned their D-Day. Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s dreamy Italy wedding, Priyanka Chopra’s roka ceremony on August 18, 2018 with Nick Jonas was also put together by the Shaadi Squad team.
