New Sims 4 Game Pack leaked: My Wedding Stories is coming on 17 February

As many players have expected and speculated over the last few weeks, the new Sims 4 Game Pack will have a wedding theme and will most likely release on 17 February 2022.

While over at Sims HQ the Gurus might have been hoping for the newly released Sims 4 Carnaval Streetwear Kit to get some time in the spotlight, players have other plans. Perhaps some players are just tired of all the Create-a-Sim Kits. Or, like us, they might still be wondering how Kits “won’t impact the release of other packs“.

Nevertheless, while there was no Sims 4 Expansion Pack for the holidays in 2021 (the first time since its release almost eight years ago), at least players have a new game pack to look forward to.

The upcoming pack was announced as part of the Sims 4 roadmap for the next three months earlier in the year. Even off the back of that graphic, it seemed pretty obvious that something relating to weddings was afoot.

But now we know a bit more about the Sims 4 wedding pack, thanks to savvy Simmers unearthing these details. While EA themselves have not confirmed anything, these types of leaks have been spot on time and time again.

Twitter user  @ALumia_Italia has been the source of many of these leaks recently. They were the first to reveal the name of the new Sims 4 My Wedding Stories Game Pack as well as the rumoured release date.

Not long after, the box art, screenshots and even the description of the pack started to appear all over Twitter from various sources.

Details of the official description for the upcoming pack was shared by @lunar_britney. The pack will add a new world, along with extensive wedding planning gameplay. No word on whether guests will actually stay seated for the ceremonies, though.

Thanks to several Sim sleuths on Twitter, players have a bit more of an idea of what to look forward to, with the boxart as well as some official screens from the new Sims 4 Game Pack all leaked.

Another user, @gimmescars, also found a screenshot of what looks like part of the wedding planning gameplay, with two Sims choosing cake and flower options.

The Sims usually announced Game Packs two weeks ahead of their release, which means further details about the new world and all the other features from The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories are likely to be revealed this week.
